I don’t think I’ve posted any of my poems on here before; so I will now.
An owl swooped. A cricket chirped and a panther yowled its yowl.
A mother cow mooed to her calf while a wolf let out a howl.
These are the things I see and hear before I rest my head.
So if you hear or see these things, don’t be frightened, go to bed.
The owl swooped, caught her prey, then swooped back to prepare for day.
Curling under her wing she closed her eyes. To wake up later for nighttime flights.
